Octavian Msongamwanja
My name is Octavian Msongamwanja, and I'm deeply committed to showcasing the beauty of Africa to the world. From my earliest years, I've been driven to provide travelers with unforgettable experiences in Tanzania. Whether it's through exhilarating hikes in our breathtaking landscapes, such as Mt. Kilimanjaro, thrilling wildlife safaris at the Serengeti where they can encounter majestic animals up close, or relaxing beach getaways in Zanzibar - experiences that are not only fun, affordable, and safe but also deeply enriching culturally.
Growing up immersed in Tanzania's natural wonders, I began my journey as a tour guide at the age of 15, driven by curiosity and determination. At times, I welcomed visitors into my family home, sharing meals and providing them with a place to sleep, ensuring they experienced the genuine warmth and hospitality of Tanzanian culture.
With a lifelong connection to East Africa and extensive experience in the United States, where I completed my Master's degree, worked and lived for eight years, I possess a unique perspective that bridges the gap between cultures. This blend of experiences allows me to offer travelers a truly immersive and insightful journey, where they can not only discover the beauty of Tanzania but also gain a deeper understanding of both East African and American cultures.
Together with Matt, we co-founded Elevated Safari with a commitment to fostering a world where people embrace one another. Through our venture, we strive to serve people with care and excellence while celebrating and embracing diversity among us.
Matt Swierk
My name is Matt Swierk, I've embarked on a transformative journey, driven by a profound passion for nature and animals. Through my venture, Elevated Safari Experience, I craft immersive travel experiences that transcend conventional norms, reshaping the landscape of travel.
As a Breakthrough Mentor and Coach at Elevated Human Experience, I've dedicated over 10,000 hours to unlocking human potential, guiding individuals towards lives aligned with their deepest desires. With a background in business management and economics, certified by the Proctor Gallagher Institute, my multifaceted career at Legacy Star has been marked by consistent recognition as a top performer.
At my core, I am a vulnerable servant leader, committed to breaking inequality and fostering success for all.
