Octavian, born and raised in rural Tanzania, had a deep connection to his homeland and a strong desire to give back to his community. Having started as a tour guide at the young age of 15, Octavian’s wealth of knowledge and personal connection to Tanzania’s landscapes allowed him to offer travelers a unique and authentic experience.
Matt’s deep admiration for wildlife and nature has been a constant throughout his life. From an early age, he found solace and inspiration in the natural world, sparking a desire to share these experiences with others. His love for conservation and his belief in the healing power of nature became the foundation upon which Elevated Safari was built. Matt’s passion for creating immersive, eco-conscious journeys stems from his desire to foster a deeper connection between people and the world around them.
The two founders crossed paths at a personal development workshop, where they discovered their shared vision of offering not just safaris, but transformative adventures. Together, they set out to create a company that would blend exhilarating wildlife encounters, cultural immersions, and a commitment to conservation and community empowerment.
